Fintech Transaction Research Specialist III

Create value for customers - The Fintech Transaction Research Specialist III is responsible for problem solving critical transactions for the Private Client group. This is largely through accurate and timely resolutions for transactions. Fintech Transaction Research Specialist III creates value for customers by execution in the following areas:

Problem resolution
Bank system knowledge

Advocate for customers - The Fintech Transaction Research Specialist III is responsible for being the “voice of the customer” as it relates to bank system and process decisions. This may include the introduction of new processes and services and the customer research that is required in order to bring them to market.

Responsible for Private Client Transaction Research - In addition to the summary shown above, the Fintech Transaction Research Specialist III should:

Research transactions quickly and accurately while providing actionable advice to clients.
Manage incoming and outgoing wire message communications on behalf of clients.
Manage wire inquiries both internally and externally while determining if process improvement is needed to assist/correct existing processes.
Advise clients, Silvergate, or our banking partners when standards are not being met for successful, timely transactions.
Maintains knowledge of wire transfer processes and procedures for Silvergate, our correspondent banking partners, our clients, and other banks that Silvergate may frequently interact with. This includes both domestic and foreign wires, including foreign exchange conversion processes.
Maintain knowledge of bank core systems and ancillary bank systems specifically ones interacting with wire payments (Horizon, Business Online Banking, eWire, & ImageCentre).
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Assists Private Client Managers in the retention and expansion of existing customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service.
